The sculpture of Saint Norbert titled “The Conversion”, at its namesake college in Green Bay, Wisconsin, depicts 33-year old Norbert unconscious at the most pivotal moment in his life. Norbert was struck by lightning, inspiring transformational leadership and purpose. While Norbert is unconscious when this magic occurs, his horse reveals the power and magnificence of the moment in every bone, muscle and sinew in its body. It is serendipitous that today I am an adjunct Professor at the Center for Exceptional Leadership, helping leaders transform every day.
Horses are pure reflectors and conduits of our heart’s desire and life purpose.
