What happens when the treats stop?
With horses, the true relationship test is what they do when they stop getting something they want from us, such as treats.
The same is true of people.
Relationships often change when someone no longer needs or wants what we have. It can be painful to realize some people are not the friends we thought they were. If we are doing all the “work”, it bears considering what we are chasing or getting from a relationship.
