Horses live with complete acceptance and surrender in the present moment. Their
survival depends on it. Horse herd leaders are the sharpest, strongest,
acceptors of the current moment. Ironically, by being the best at surrendering
to the moment, they respond the fastest and the best to protect their entire
herd.
There is both relief and challenge in surrender. It is not submissive or giving up. It
is humbling and empowering at the same time to recognize how little control we
really have in life. Surrender demands faith, trust, humility, and grace, and it empowers us to bring our full
clarity, connection, and courage to the moment. Leaders who surrender fully to
